- Marque Vault Classics is a picture car company: a curated register of privately owned classic, vintage and specialty vehicles available to hire for film, television and commercial productions in New York City. It is operated by Metromotion Productions INC (MPI), a photo shoot and film production company founded in 1991, which acts as the booking broker between the vehicle owners and the production hiring the car.
- What types of classic cars does Marque Vault Classics offer?
- The collection is built around European grand tourers and American classics of the 1950s through the early 1970s: marques such as Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Ford and Chevrolet. Each vehicle has its own page listing year, engine, transmission, colour and current status.
- Can a vintage car be used for a film or television production?
- Yes. Film and television work is the core of what Marque Vault Classics does. Cars are supplied as picture vehicles, hero cars and background dressing, and every vehicle is inspected before release. Rentals are for production houses with commercial insurance in place; the certificate of insurance is reviewed before a booking is confirmed.
- Can the cars be hired for personal or product photoshoots?
- No. The picture cars are supplied only to professional feature film, television, streaming and commercial productions, with a three-day minimum and production insurance.
- How do I inquire about a classic automobile for a shoot?
- Open the vehicle's page in The Fleet and use the inquiry link there, or write to info@metromotion.com or call +1 (917) 497-1178. Include the vehicle, your shoot dates and call times, the location, the type of production and the company booking. Inquiries are answered within one business day.
- What does a rental cost?
- Rates are quoted on request and confirmed by the vehicle's owner. Pricing depends on the vehicle, the length of the booking, the location and the nature of the production. No standard rate card is published. MPI's booking fee is included in the agreed price and visible to both owner and renter.
- Where does Marque Vault Classics operate?
- New York City and a 25-mile radius as standard, from MPI's Hudson Yards base at 450 West 31st Street. Longer distances can be arranged with custom professional transport at the client's cost. Vehicles are kept in private, insured garages and viewings are by appointment.

Metromotion Productions INC (MPI) acts solely as a booking broker. MPI introduces productions and clients to the owners of the vintage automobiles featured on this site, and coordinates dates, locations, and requirements between the two parties.
MPI is not a party to any rental contract or agreement. All rental terms, agreements, payments, insurance obligations, and liabilities are entered into directly between the renter (client) and the owner of the vehicle. MPI does not sign, guarantee, or assume responsibility under those agreements.
All numbers and agreed payments are fully transparent between the owner and the renter. Both parties see the same figures , rental rate, dates, terms, and MPI's booking fee: before any agreement is signed. MPI's fee is included in the price agreed between the parties, with no hidden margins or side charges.
